Wat ga je doen? Wat is BeterThuiZ? BeterThuiZ is een vorm van VPT (Volledig Pakket Thuis) zorg. Dit betekent dat een cliënt een volledig pakket zorg in eigen huis ontvangt. Op deze manier kan iemand langer thuis blijven wonen. Samen met de cliënt kiezen we de beste invulling van zijn of haar ‘zorgpakket’. Van huishoudelijke ondersteuning tot verzorging of verpleging aan huis. Wil een cliënt samen koken? Of maakt hij of zij liever gebruik van een maaltijdenservice? Het zorgplan is persoonlijk en op maat.

Onze cliënten hebben vaak te maken met (beginnende) geheugenproblemen of fysieke beperkingen. Hierdoor moet je soms op zoek naar creatieve oplossingen. Als je het vertrouwen van iemand krijgt om te helpen, is dat heel bijzonder. Je ziet dat mensen weer beter gaan eten, plezier in de kleine dingen krijgen. Er komt weer meer levenslust. Mooi als jij hieraan kan bijdragen!

Als Verzorgende IG bied jij dagelijkse zorg aan onze cliënten. Je helpt hen met opstaan, wassen, douchen, aankleden en medicatie geven. Daarnaast verricht je verpleegtechnische handelingen, zoals het verzorgen van wonden en het geven van injecties. Merk je een verandering in de gezondheid of het gedrag van jouw cliënt? Dan trek je aan de bel en meld je dit bij jouw leidinggevende. Naast het bieden van zorg is er veel aandacht voor het welzijn van onze cliënten. Een uitje naar het strand, samen koken, muziek luisteren of een een visje halen op de markt. We kijken naar de wensen van de cliënt. Zij bepalen en dát maakt BeterThuiZ zo leuk!
