Als burgermedewerker bij het Air Support Command draag je met jouw specialisatie bij aan vrede en veiligheid. Dat doe je samen in een team van militairen, reservisten en burgermedewerkers. Jouw rol als vliegtuigmonteur B2 Chinook / NH90 bij de Koninklijke Luchtmacht Ben jij een ervaren technicus met een passie voor vliegtuigonderhoud en constructie? Wil je deel uitmaken van een dynamisch team dat verantwoordelijk is voor het veilig en operationeel houden van onze helikopters en vliegtuigen? De geavanceerde (gevecht)helikopters en -vliegtuigen van de Koninklijke Luchtmacht zijn dag en nacht onder alle weersomstandigheden inzetbaar, zowel in Nederland als in het buitenland. Het is zeer belangrijk dat de luchtvaartuigen in perfecte staat verkeren en daarom ben jij, als Vliegtuigmonteur B2, verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud van de Chinook / NH90. Je analyseert klachten, repareert of vervangt componenten, test systemen na de reparatie en voert preventief onderhoud uit. Je bent bezig met een onderhoudsbeurt om de helikopter na een groot aantal vlieguren weer zo goed als nieuwe te maken. Jouw werk als helikoptermonteur is hoe dan ook van levensbelang!
