- Wat bieden wij je? - - - Waarom het Erasmus MC? - Wat bieden wij je? - VMware Administrator Bouw als VMware administrator mee aan een nieuwe Cloud Foundation-omgeving voor één van de grootste zorgorganisaties van Nederland - Reageer t/m 20-10-2026 - 3886 - 32 - 36 uur - HBO - IT - Reageer t/m 20-10-2026 - 3886 Functie inhoud Als VCF Administrator krijg je de kans om vanaf het begin mee te bouwen aan een nieuwe VMware Cloud Foundation-omgeving binnen het Erasmus MC. We staan aan het begin van de implementatie van VMware Cloud Foundation 9. Dat betekent dat er nog veel ontworpen, gebouwd en ingericht moet worden. Je komt dus niet terecht in een omgeving waarin alles al vastligt: jouw kennis en ervaring hebben direct invloed op hoe onze toekomstige infrastructuur eruit gaat zien. Je werkt aan een omvangrijke infrastructuur waarop ongeveer 2.000 virtuele machines draaien. Binnen VCF werk je onder andere met vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VCF Operations, VCF Automation en VKS. Je denkt mee over de architectuur en maakt technische ontwerpen. Samen met je collega's vertaal je deze naar een betrouwbare en beheersbare productieomgeving. Automation speelt daarin een belangrijke rol. We willen steeds meer infrastructuur als code beheren en gebruiken onder andere Terraform en het GitOps framework. Je helpt bij het automatiseren van bijvoorbeeld de deployment van virtuele machines en containers. Niet alleen omdat automation tijd bespaart, maar vooral omdat het onze infrastructuur voorspelbaarder, reproduceerbaar en beter beheersbaar maakt. Ook security wordt een belangrijk onderdeel van de nieuwe omgeving. Met VMware vDefend en NSX werken we onder andere aan microsegmentatie. Je helpt mee om security vanaf het ontwerp onderdeel te maken van onze infrastructuur en vertaalt technische en functionele eisen naar passende netwerk- en securityconfiguraties.
