Als Commissioning Engineer Laser ben je verantwoordelijk voor het in bedrijf stellen van onze laser machines bij klanten over de hele wereld. Je werkt met moderne fiberlaser snijmachines en geautomatiseerde lasersystemen die een cruciale rol spelen in het productieproces van de klant. Afhankelijk van het project werk je zelfstandig of samen met één of twee collega's op locatie. Tijdens projecten analyseer je het productieproces van de klant en vertaal je dit naar een optimale afstelling van de laser machine. Je bent betrokken vanaf de project kick-off tot en met de overdracht aan de klant. Naast techniek speelt communicatie een belangrijke rol: je begeleidt operators en zorgt dat zij de machine veilig en efficiënt kunnen gebruiken. Je reist internationaal naar klanten in onder andere Europa, Amerika, Canada, Australië en het Verenigd Koninkrijk. De werkzaamheden vinden plaats volgens een vast ritme van ongeveer drie weken op locatie en één week thuis, waarbij flexibiliteit en zelfstandigheid belangrijk zijn. - Inbedrijfstellen en testen van fiberlaser snijmachines en geautomatiseerde lasersystemen; - Analyseren en optimaliseren van klant-specifieke productieprocessen; - Oplossen van technische issues tijdens commissioning op locatie; - Trainen en begeleiden van operators en technische medewerkers van de klant; - Samenwerken met collega's van service, software en projectmanagement.
