We richten ons op het beleid en de uitvoering van de Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning (Wmo), de Jeugdwet en de Participatiewet. Onze focus ligt op de thema's: wonen, welzijn, zorg, werk en inkomen, jeugd, sociale cohesie en leefbaarheid. Dan is dit jouw kans! De Sociaaldomeinraad Nijkerk (SDR) is op zoek naar een voorzitter die met energie en verbindingskracht leiding geeft aan de Sociaaldomeinraad. En het gesprek aangaat met inwoners, gemeente en maatschappelijke partners. De SDR adviseert het college van burgemeester en wethouders gevraagd en ongevraagd over het beleid binnen het sociaal domein. De SDR bestaat uit betrokken inwoners die de belangen van kwetsbare groepen behartigen en signalen uit de samenleving vertalen naar adviezen. Wat ga je doen? Als voorzitter geef je richting en leiding aan de werkzaamheden van de SDR. Je stimuleert de leden om hun kennis te verdiepen, nieuwe contacten op te bouwen en samen als een sterk team op te treden. Daarnaast ben je het gezicht van de SDR naar buiten toe en onderhoud je de belangrijkste contacten met de gemeente, maatschappelijke organisaties en andere partners. Taken van de voorzitter zijn; - Leiden van de vergaderingen en activiteiten van de SDR; - Coördineren van de voorbereiding en afhandeling van vergaderingen, samen met de ambtelijk ondersteuner; - Regelmatig contact onderhouden met de wethouders van het sociaal domein; - Optreden als aanspreekpunt voor maatschappelijke organisaties, pers en andere betrokkenen; - De leden stimuleren en verbind...
