Het College van Kerkrentmeesters van de Protestantse Kerk Den Haag zoekt een nieuwe voorzitter: iemand die wil bijdragen aan een kerk die herkenbaar en actief in onze stad aanwezig is. Bouw mee aan de toekomst van onze kerk! Over het College van Het College van bestaat uit vertegenwoordigers van de verschillende wijkgemeenten, aangevuld met de voorzitter, secretaris en penningmeester. Collegeleden worden benoemd voor een periode van vier jaar en zijn eenmaal herbenoembaar. Het College wordt ondersteund door het Kerkelijk Bureau en door vrijwilligers. Het College heeft een aantal taken, waaronder het beheer van onroerende en roerende zaken, het beheer van de ledenadministratie, de werkgeversrol ten aanzien van personeel, het beheer van de archieven en van het Abdijkerkhof. Binnen het College bestaat een portefeuilleverdeling, zoveel mogelijk op basis van de deskundigheid en kwaliteiten van de leden. Wegens het aflopen van de bestuurstermijn van de huidige voorzitter is het CvK op zoek naar een nieuwe voorzitter. Taken van de voorzitter • Deskundig leidinggeven aan de vergaderingen van het College van (11 vergaderingen per jaar); • Buiten de vergaderingen overleggen met collega-collegeleden over complexere vraagstukken; • Samen met de secretaris het College en de Protestantse Kerk Den Haag vertegenwoordigen bij het beoordelen en aangaan van contracten of het aangaan van (andere) rechtshandelingen; • Vertegenwoordigen van het College in de Algemene Kerkenraad (5 vergaderingen per jaar) en Kleine Kerkenraad (11 vergaderingen per jaar). De voorzitter: • Heeft bestuurlijke ervaring, bij voorkeur ook als voorzitter; • Beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve en diplomatieke vaardigheden; • Is bereid zich te laten bevestigen als ouderling-kerkrentmeester met bijzondere opdracht of is reeds ambtsdrager; • Is meelevend lid van de Protestantse Kerk Den Haag.
