Siesta Logo Voorzitter gezocht voor SIESTA Amersfoort - SIESTA (Stichting Industrieel Erfgoed in de Stad Amersfoort) zoekt een nieuwe voorzitter. Iemand met hart voor industrieel erfgoed én oog voor de toekomst. SIESTA houdt zich bezig met het industrieel erfgoed in Amersfoort. Wij willen het kenmerkende industrieel erfgoed dat Amersfoort rijk is inzetten bij de verdere ruimtelijke ontwikkeling van de stad. Waar nodig koersen wij op behoud en bescherming, waar wenselijk denken wij mee over inpassing en altijd kijken wij met open oog naar kansen. Soms zijn dit grote iconen zoals de Wagenwerkplaats en De Nieuwe Stad. Maar ook kleinere pareltjes zoals het tankstationnetje van aan de Kwekersweg koesteren wij. Het bestuur van SIESTA bestaat nu uit acht personen met verschillende achtergronden in de bouw, architectuur en cultuurhistorie. Wij komen een tiental keren per jaar bij elkaar. Wij hebben een jaarlijkse donateurs dag, we verzorgen rondleidingen en hebben geregeld contact met het ambtelijk apparaat van de gemeente Amersfoort en bestuurders. En nu zoeken we een nieuwe voorzitter. Een ambassadeur met een relevant netwerk, die soepel samenwerkt en tegelijkertijd koers weet te houden. Iemand die vastberaden is, maar met mate en met gevoel voor verhoudingen. Een voorzitter die kansen ziet, mensen inspireert en helpt bouwen aan een sterke positie van het industrieel erfgoed in Amersfoort. En die nooit een verjaardag van één van de bestuursleden vergeet.
