Wil jij als voorzitter van de Raad van Toezicht bijdragen aan hét internationale dansfestival dat Nederland, Duitsland en België met elkaar verbindt? Over schrit_tmacher schrit_tmacher is een internationaal festival voor hedendaagse dans dat ieder voorjaar plaatsvindt in Nederland, Duitsland en België. Al meer dan dertig jaar brengt het festival toonaangevende internationale dansgezelschappen en makers uit de hele wereld naar de Euregio Maas-Rijn. Daarmee biedt schrit_tmacher het publiek een breed palet aan artistieke perspectieven, danstalen en culturen en verbindt het de internationale danswereld met de regio. Het Nederlandse deel van schrit_tmacher wordt georganiseerd door Stichting StEP by StEP in samenwerking met PLT, vanuit de theaters in Heerlen, Kerkrade en Sittard. Samen met de partners in Aken en Eupen vormt het één internationaal festival dat letterlijk én inhoudelijk over grenzen heen werkt. Stichting StEP by StEP ontvangt structurele subsidie van Fonds Podiumkunsten, de Provincie Limburg en de gemeente Heerlen en kent een raad-van-toezichtmodel met een directeur-bestuurder. Vanwege het aflopen van een tweede zittingstermijn zoeken wij per 1 januari 2027 een: Voorzitter Raad van Toezicht De Raad van Toezicht houdt toezicht op de directeur-bestuurder en op de algemene gang van zaken binnen de stichting, met bijzondere aandacht voor de maatschappelijke, organisatorische en financiële continuïteit. Daarnaast fungeert de raad als klankbord en werkgever van de directeur-bestuurder. De raad werkt daarbij vanuit de Governance Code Cultuur, met aandacht voor de Fair Practice Code en de Code Diversiteit & Inclusie. De komende jaren richt Stichting StEP by StEP zich op de verdere ontwikkeling en versterking van schrit_tmacher, duurzame internationale samenwerking binnen de Euregio Maas-Rijn, verbreding van de financieringsbasis en strategische positionering richting 2029.
