Functieomschrijving Voor Stichting Groeisaam Primair Onderwijs zoeken wij een voorzitter raad van toezicht met bestuurlijke ervaring bij een maatschappelijke organisatie die vanuit visie, kennis en ervaring een bijdrage kan leveren aan de positionering en ontwikkeling van Groeisaam. De statuten van Stichting Groeisaam Primair Onderwijs voorzien in een raad van toezicht. Het college van bestuur bestuurt de stichting en de raad van toezicht houdt integraal toezicht op het beleid van het college van bestuur en op de algemene gang van zaken binnen de stichting. De raad van toezicht vervult de werkgeversfunctie, heeft daarnaast een klankbordfunctie en staat het college van bestuur met gevraagd en ongevraagd advies terzijde. De raad van toezicht wordt gevormd door maximaal zeven leden. Op dit moment bestaat de raad van toezicht uit vijf leden en een (aftredend) voorzitter. Bij de samenstelling van de raad van toezicht wordt gestreefd naar een diversiteit die recht doet aan voldoende spreiding van maatschappelijke achtergronden van de leden. Functie-eisen Voor jouw rol als toezichthouder kun je putten uit ruime werk- en levenservaring. Dit betekent niet alleen dat je je herkent in het profiel, maar ook dat je ervaring hebt als voorzitter van een raad van toezicht en affiniteit met het (primair) onderwijs. De raad van toezicht bestaat uit zes leden die elk vanuit hun persoonlijke achtergrond en deskundigheid een bijdrage leveren. Wij zoeken een voorzitter die vanuit bestuurlijk inzicht, kennis van bedrijfsvoering en onderwijs en daarnaast inzicht in maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen toezicht kan houden op de kwaliteit van het besturen van de bestuurders en daarmee de organisatie.
