Een maatschappelijke opdracht die ertoe doet Welzijn Albrandswaard en KijkopWelzijn zijn lokaal gewortelde welzijnsorganisaties in Albrandswaard en Barendrecht. Samen met inwoners, professionals, vrijwilligers, gemeenten en maatschappelijke partners werken zij aan welzijn, participatie, eigen regie en sterke gemeenschappen. De maatschappelijke opgaven zijn groot: vergrijzing, bestaanszekerheid, eenzaamheid, mantelzorg, jeugd, inclusie en de toenemende druk op zorg en ondersteuning. Dit vraagt om een sterke sociale basis, vernieuwende samenwerking en heldere keuzes. Beide organisaties zijn volop in ontwikkeling. De verbinding tussen lokale nabijheid, professionele kwaliteit, innovatie en regionale samenwerking vraagt om professioneel bestuur en goed toezicht. De rol van de voorzitter Als voorzitter zorgt u ervoor dat de Raad van Toezicht als collectief goed functioneert. U bewaakt de kwaliteit van toezicht en besluitvorming, stimuleert reflectie en zorgt voor een open en professionele overlegcultuur. U bent een stevige en toegankelijke sparringpartner voor de directeur-bestuurder: onafhankelijk, rolvast en bereid om door te vragen wanneer dat nodig is. U: • geeft richting aan het functioneren van de Raad van Toezicht; • bewaakt toezicht op strategie, maatschappelijke resultaten, financiën, risico's en continuïteit; • stimuleert positief kritische reflectie en ruimte voor verschillende perspectieven; • brengt verbinding en bestuurlijke scherpte; • bewaakt de juiste balans tussen toezicht, advies en bestu...
