In deze functie vervoer je gascilinders naar verschillende klanten in binnen- en buitenland. Je werkt met modern materieel en krijgt een uitgebreid inwerktraject, zodat je goed voorbereid zelfstandig op pad gaat. Omdat je meerdere dagen onderweg bent, overnacht je in de cabine van de vrachtwagen. Over het bedrijf Onze opdrachtgever is gespecialiseerd in het veilig vervoeren van gassen en vloeistoffen en opereert internationaal. Ondanks de omvang van de organisatie heerst er een informele en gemoedelijke sfeer . Veiligheid en kwaliteit staan centraal en er wordt veel aandacht besteed aan opleidingen en trainingen. Daarnaast wordt geïnvesteerd in schonere brandstoffen en duurzamere oplossingen. Functieomschrijving Als vrachtwagenchauffeur CE ben je verantwoordelijk voor het laden, vervoeren en lossen van pallets met gascilinders. Je vervoert onder andere argon, stikstof en zuurstof naar verschillende klanten. Je werkdag start op het depot in Bergen op Zoom. Daar laad je de vrachtwagen en zorg je ervoor dat de lading goed en veilig is gezekerd. Vervolgens rijd je naar verschillende locaties, zoals industriële opslagterreinen, staalbedrijven en agrarische ondernemingen. Voor het verplaatsen van de cilinderkooien gebruik je een meeneemheftruck . Kleinere cilinders verplaats je soms handmatig. Veilig werken en zorgvuldig omgaan met de lading zijn hierbij belangrijk. Voordat je zelfstandig de weg op gaat, doorloop je een inwerktraject van ongeveer drie weken . Een ervaren mentorchauffeur begeleidt je tijdens deze periode en leert je hoe je veilig en zorgvuldig bij verschillende klanten te werk gaat.
