The posting

KDL is een bloeiende onderneming en een betrouwbare speler in de logistieke wereld. Wij bouwden een distributiecentrum in Lokeren en gaan volop voor: Anders. Beter. Groter.

Het gebouw is 28 meter hoog met 10.000 m² werkvloer die rechtstreeks aansluit op de volautomatische magazijnwerking. De opslag van goederen, verpakking, etikettering en gerelateerde e-commerce logistiek is gecentraliseerd in éénzelfde gebouw. Dankzij slimme automatisatie beschikken we over een state-of-the-art magazijn met plaats voor 46.000 pallets.

Functieomschrijving

Bij KDL gaan wij op zoek naar een Warehouse Operator. Als Warehouse Operator word je tewerkgesteld in een wisselend ploegensysteem en ben je verantwoordelijke voor het bewaken, controleren en ondersteunen van de volautomatische hoogbouw.

Wat wil dit zeggen?

  • Monitoren van het automatisatieproces via een visueel scherm.
  • Detecteren van afwijkingen (blokkades, foutmeldingen, stilstand, andere storingen.
  • Eerste-lijn interventies uitvoeren zoals Resetten van shuttles/installaties Verwijderen van blokkades (vb. folie, sensoren afregelen,…) Herstarten van eenvoudige processen
  • Escaleren naar collega’s of externe partners bij storingen die je zelf niet kan oplossen.
  • Controleren van goederenstroom (inbound, outbound) en bijsturen waar nodig.
  • Registreren van afwijkingen in het systeem en rapporteren volgens procedures/aan externe partners tijdens maandelijks overleg.
  • Naleven van veiligheidsvoorschriften in een geautomatiseerde omgeving (bewegende machines zoals conveyors, shuttles, liften,…
  • Je kan analytisch denken, vlot werken met PC en met WMS/WCS-software, je kan prioriteiten stellen en je bent communicatief.
