The posting

Als begeleider ondersteun je kinderen en jongeren met autisme of een motorische of auditieve beperking, zowel individueel als in (leef)groep, binnen een veilige en huiselijke omgeving. Je doet dit tijdens het weekend. Je helpt hen zich te ontplooien door sociale en maatschappelijke vaardigheden aan te leren, activiteiten te organiseren en zorgvragen op te vangen, altijd met het handelingsplan als leidraad.

Je werkt nauw samen met een weekendteam en draagt bij aan een warme en veilige omgeving. Je voert ook een aantal administratieve taken uit, zoals verslagen en planningen maken.

We zoeken een collega met sterk inlevingsvermogen, klantgericht en met het vermogen om conflicten op te lossen. Je behoudt overzicht in complexe situaties, denkt oplossingsgericht en weet rust te brengen in stressvolle momenten. Met jouw enthousiasme en vakkennis maak je écht het verschil.

  • Je hebt een diploma in een menswetenschappelijke richting, bij voorkeur opvoeder of begeleider, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring. Je competenties en motivatie wegen sterker door dan je diploma.
  • Je hebt een groot hart voor kwetsbare jongeren en je stemt je handelen af op hun ontwikkelingsvragen.
  • Kennis van de doelgroep en Vlaamse Gebarentaal, zijn een grote meerwaarde.
  • Je bent positief, realistisch en je hebt een ruime portie humor en geduld.
  • Je bent een teambeest en houdt van open dialoog.
  • Je werkt methodisch, planmatig en doelgericht en je maakt verslagen op een professionele manier.
  • Je werkt vanuit de missie van Evara.
