De Witte Watermolen is een prachtige, 555-jarige oude watermolen in het groene Sonsbeek Park waar molenaars nog altijd graan tot meel vermalen. Met jouw hulp kunnen we elk weekend open blijven! Uitgebreide taakomschrijving Onze Witte Watermolen is een levend monument. De molen maalt meel voor eigen verkoop in de Molenschuur, maar ook voor bakkers en particuliere klanten in Arnhem en omgeving. Wij ontvangen een paar duizend bezoekers per jaar, waaronder veel kinderen. Kom je ons helpen? Voor de Witte Watermolen zijn wij op zoek naar een vrijwillige medewerker die minimaal 1 dag(deel) in de week beschikbaar is. Wat ga je doen: De molen ondersteunen bij dagelijkse werkzaamheden, zoals: * Meel verkopen aan onze vaste en nieuwe bezoekers; * Verschillende soorten (zelf gemalen) meel verpakken en klaarmaken voor de verkoop; * De lekkerste meelrecepten mixen voor verkoop, als pannenkoeken en broodmix; * Als je het leuk vindt: bezoekers rondleiden in de watermolen zelf; * Op termijn en bij interesse: zelf leren malen; * Gezellig koffie of thee drinken voor de werkdag begint. Wat voor kennis of vaardigheden zijn nodig? Wat vragen we van je? * Gastvrijheid: bezoekers van de molen ontvang je vriendelijk en je helpt ze met het zoeken van meelproducten * Zelfstandigheid: als je de werkzaamheden onder de knie hebt (na een inwerkperiode) kun je zelf meelproducten verpakken, mixen en verkopen * Teamwerker: je kunt goed samenwerken met andere vrijwillige medewerkers * Verantwoordelijk: je neemt het werk serieus en komt afspraken na.
