Gedurende jouw dienst ben jij hét vaste aanspreekpunt in de huiskamer: je houdt het overzicht, ziet wat er nodig is en zorgt dat de dag prettig, veilig en betekenisvol verloopt. Je werkt zelfstandig en bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor bewoners; wanneer zorg nodig is schakel je via het piepersysteem de zorg in en maak je een goede inschatting van de situatie. Je richt je vooral op het dagelijks leven van bewoners en begeleidt de dag zoals die voor hen betekenisvol is. Het gaat niet om losse activiteiten, maar om het ondersteunen en vormgeven van dagelijkse ritmes en bezigheden. Je draagt bij aan een veilige, rustige en gezellige sfeer in de huiskamer en biedt persoonlijke aandacht en individuele momenten. Daarnaast ondersteun je bij maaltijden en eetmomenten en signaleer je zaken zoals slikproblemen. Je helpt waar nodig bij basis ADL-taken, bijvoorbeeld bij toiletbezoek, en bewaakt continu de balans tussen zelfstandigheid van bewoners en het inschakelen van zorg wanneer dat nodig is. Je maakt onderdeel uit van een betrokken team binnen Vereen, een organisatie die zich inzet voor een goed leven voor ouderen in de regio Zwolle.
