Als kok aan boord van onze schepen werk je in de centrale kombuis en bereid je volgens vaste recepturen smaakvolle maaltijden voor onze restaurants, vrachtpassagiers en bemanning. Je combineert culinair vakmanschap met goed voorraadbeheer, voedselveiligheid en het beperken van verspilling. Wat ga je doen? - Ingrediënten en maaltijden voorbereiden en bereiden voor de verschillende restaurants en overige verkooppunten aan boord. - Bestellingen plaatsen, leveringen ontvangen en controleren en bijdragen aan doelmatig voorraadbeheer. - De keuken schoon, veilig en georganiseerd houden en werken volgens de geldende HACCP-richtlijnen. - Voedselverspilling beperken en een constante kwaliteit van gerechten waarborgen. - Als bemanningslid deelnemen aan de veiligheidsorganisatie voor passagiers en collega's. Een unieke werkplek op zee Je werkt volgens een rooster van één week aan boord en één week vrij. Afhankelijk van de planning word je ingezet op een van onze schepen, met op- en afstap in Hoek van Holland of Europoort. Die afwisseling geeft je de kans om verschillende schepen, werkzaamheden en teams te leren kennen. Tijdens je werkweek verblijf je in een bemannings hut aan boord. Buiten je diensten kun je gebruikmaken van de beschikbare faciliteiten, waaronder de fitnessruimte en ontspanningsruimtes. Je werkt intensief samen met je collega's en bouwt daardoor snel een hechte band op binnen het team. Wie ben jij?
