Onze klant is gelegen in het Waasland en maakt innovatieve installaties voor de industrie. Ze bieden het volledig pakket aan van ontwerp, eigen constructie atelier tot automatisatie en installatie. Ze specialiseren zich voornamelijk in klantgerichte oplossingen en systemen voor bulk- en grondstofbehandeling, stofafzuiging- en filtersystemen zoals brouwerijen, chemische industrie, voeding,.... Ze bestaan ondertussen reeds meer dan 30 jaar en hechten als familiebedrijf met een 25-tal eigen medewerkers veel waarde aan een goede werksfeer en persoonlijke ontwikkeling van hun medewerkers.

Jobomschrijving

Als Werkplaatsverantwoordelijke ben jij de sleutelspeler in het waarborgen van de continuïteit en efficiëntie in de werkplaats. Je coacht de teams en coördineert de dagelijkse activiteiten samen met de productieverantwoordelijke.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:

  • Voorbereiden van materialen en tekeningen voor de werkzaamheden van de volgende dag.
  • Aansturen en opvolgen van het team in de las-, straal- en assemblageafdeling.
  • Beheren en bewaken van de planning en voortgang van werkzaamheden.
  • Waarborgen van de veiligheid- en kwaliteitseisen op de werkvloer.
  • Ondersteunen van de productieverantwoordelijke in het verbeteren van efficiëntie en kwaliteit.
  • Controle uitvoeren op afgewerkte stukken en zorgen voor onderhoud van machines.
  • Oplossen van technische problemen en fungeren als aanspreekpunt.
  • Actief bijdragen aan optimalisaties van productieprocessen.
  • Overdragen van technische kennis en vakmanschap aan je team.
  • Uitvoeren van hands-on werkzaamheden wanneer nodig.

Om succesvol te zijn in deze functie, zoeken we een kandidaat met de volgende kwalificaties:

  • Hands-on mentaliteit, flexibiliteit en stressbestendigheid.
  • Minimaal 3-5 jaar relevante technische werkervaring, bij voorkeur in machinebouw, metaal of een vergelijkbare sector.
  • Leidinggevende ervaring of de intrinsieke motivatie om deze rol te vervullen.
  • Grondige kennis van mechanica, lassen en montage.
  • Goede organisatorische vaardigheden en een kostprijsbewuste aanpak.
  • Vloeiende beheersing van het Nederlands en een goede kennis van Engels.
  • Passie voor veiligheid, kwaliteit en procesoptimalisatie.
  • Het vermogen om proactief op onvoorziene situaties in te spelen.
  • Bereidheid om flexibel te zijn in je dagplanning.
