Je hebt technische ervaring en weet hoe een werkplaats moet draaien. Je houdt overzicht, stuurt mensen aan en grijpt in wanneer de planning of uitvoering niet loopt zoals voorzien. Voor verschillende technische werkplaatsen zoeken we iemand die de dagelijkse werking mee in goede banen leidt.

Wat ga je doen? Je staat in voor de dagelijkse organisatie en aansturing van de technische medewerkers.

  • Medewerkers aansturen in verschillende werkplaatsen en op verplaatsing
  • De dagelijkse werkzaamheden organiseren op basis van de planning
  • Opvolgen van productie, kwaliteit, timing en veiligheid
  • Werk verdelen en prioriteiten bepalen
  • Technische problemen op de werkvloer inschatten en oplossen
  • Controleren of opdrachten volgens de afgesproken kwaliteit worden uitgevoerd
  • Medewerkers duidelijke instructies geven en bijsturen waar nodig
  • Technische medewerkers coachen en aanspreken op hun verantwoordelijkheid
  • Overleggen met de Technical Coördinator over planning, personeel en materiaal
  • Problemen tijdig signaleren en voorkomen dat opdrachten vertraging oplopen
  • Meedenken over efficiëntere werkmethodes en organisatie
  • Zelf technisch bijspringen wanneer nodig

Je bewaart het overzicht over meerdere opdrachten tegelijk. Je hoeft niet elke technische taak zelf uit te voeren, maar je moet wel voldoende technische kennis hebben om de werking te begrijpen en correcte beslissingen te nemen.

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht in een technische werkomgeving die maatwerk uitvoert voor haven en industrie. De werkzaamheden zijn verdeeld over verschillende werkplaatsen, waaronder:

  • Plaatvoorbereiding
  • 2 spuitcabines
  • Straalcabine
  • Lasatelier

De projecten zijn uiteenlopend: boeien, containers, hekwerk, balustrades en andere technische constructies. Je werkt rechtstreeks met de technische medewerkers en stemt af met de Technical Coördinator.

  • Je hebt een technische opleiding of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Je hebt ervaring als ploegbaas, teamleader, voorman of in een gelijkaardige technische functie
  • Je hebt een goede technische basis en begrijpt technische productieprocessen
  • Je kan een planning vertalen naar een concrete werkverdeling
  • Je kan duidelijk instructies geven en mensen aanspreken
  • Je kan zelfstandig beslissingen nemen wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt
  • Je kan delegeren en houdt tegelijk controle over de uitvoering
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en houdt overzicht wanneer meerdere opdrachten lopen
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands
