Je onderhoudt contact met leveranciers, onderaannemers en bewoners en zorgt voor een goede afstemming tussen de verschillende betrokken partijen. Daarnaast beoordeel je (deel)ontwerpen, ondersteun je bij de inkoop en bewaak je de kwaliteit van de voorbereiding. Je zorgt dat projectinformatie compleet en overzichtelijk is en dat de benodigde gegevens tijdig beschikbaar zijn voor de uitvoering. Je werkt daarbij nauwkeurig en gestructureerd en krijgt steeds meer inzicht in het volledige werkvoorbereidingsproces. Afhankelijk van je ervaring werk je samen met een ervaren werkvoorbereider die je begeleidt in het vak. Naarmate je meer ervaring opdoet, krijg je steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid en ruimte om door te groeien naar een zelfstandige rol. Een goede start voor iemand die het vak in de praktijk wil leren, verantwoordelijkheid wil nemen en zich wil ontwikkelen tot zelfstandig werkvoorbereider.
