Om niet alleen vanuit een behandel -of zorginstelling, maar juist bij mensen thuis te kijken wat er nodig is en daar zelf een deel van de zorg te leveren? Want steeds meer complexe ziekenhuiszorg verplaatst zich naar de wijk, waardoor jij als wijkverpleegkundige een steeds belangrijkere rol speelt in het organiseren én leveren van deze zorg thuis. Werk om trots op te zijn De zorg verschuift steeds vaker van het ziekenhuis naar thuis. Denk aan chemotherapie aan huis, antihormonale zorg na een prostaatverwijdering, zorg rondom PIC-lijnen en palliatieve zorg. Als wijkverpleegkundige help je mee om deze zorg goed en veilig thuis te organiseren. Wat kunnen we zelf? Welke deskundigheid hebben we al in huis en waarin moeten we ons verder ontwikkelen? Je hebt veel contact met collega's en andere disciplines, stemt de zorg goed af en levert zelf ook een deel van de (verpleegtechnische) zorg. Tegelijkertijd coach je collega's en deel je jouw kennis en ervaring. Daarmee help je niet alleen cliënten thuis, maar ook het team om verder te groeien in deze steeds complexere vorm van thuiszorg. En dat maakt deze functie extra interessant voor verpleegkundigen met ziekenhuiservaring: je brengt je klinische en technische kennis mee, maar krijgt ook volop ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen in de wijk. Je beweegt mee met nieuwe ontwikkelingen in de thuiszorg én met technologische innovaties die het mogelijk maken om steeds meer zorg thuis te bieden. Nieuwsgierig geworden?
