Sinds 1964 zijn we een betrouwbare partner van de Belgische marine, met een team van 130 scheepswerktuigkundigen en maritieme specialisten. Vanuit Zeebrugge verzorgen we dagelijks onderhoud, geplande revisies en dringende reparaties voor de Belgische en Nederlandse marinevloten, met speciale aandacht voor mijnenjagers. Onze technici worden ook ingezet in binnen- en buitenland en passen zich aan aan vlootoperaties wereldwijd. Wij zijn op zoek naar een Workshop Manager Elektriciteit, Timmerij & Zeilmakerij, om het team op onze site in Zeebrugge te versterken!

Key Responsibilities

Als Workshop Manager Elektriciteit, Timmerij & Zeilmakerij ben je verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijks beheer van de verschillende werkplaatsen en zorg je ervoor dat onderhouds- en herstellingswerkzaamheden veilig, kwalitatief en binnen de gestelde termijnen worden uitgevoerd.

  • Je geeft leiding aan multidisciplinaire teams van technische medewerkers en staat in voor hun coaching, opleiding en ontwikkeling.
  • Je organiseert, plant en volgt de werkzaamheden binnen de verschillende werkplaatsen op.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit, veiligheid en vooropgestelde deadlines.Je ziet toe op de correcte uitvoering van onderhouds- en herstellingswerken.
  • Je coördineert werkorders en prioriteiten in overleg met interne Serco-stakeholders en de Belgische Marine.
  • Je optimaliseert werkprocessen en stimuleert continue verbetering binnen de werkplaatsen.
  • Je staat in voor de personeelsplanning en het efficiënt inzetten van beschikbare resources.
  • Je volgt materiaal- en voorraadbeheer en technische documentatie op.
  • Je rapporteert aan de Operations Manager over prestaties, risico's en verbeterinitiatieven.
  • Je draagt actief bij aan een sterke veiligheids- en kwaliteitscultuur.
  • Bachelor in een technische richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minimaal 3 jaar relevante leidinggevende ervaring binnen een technische omgeving.
  • Ervaring met onderhoudsactiviteiten binnen de industrie, marine, scheepvaart of defensie is een belangrijke troef.
  • Sterke organisatorische, communicatieve en analytische vaardigheden.
  • Ervaring met werkorderbeheer, onderhoudsplanning en resource management.
  • Kennis van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsregels.
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Natuurlijk leiderschap met een pragmatische en coachende managementstijl.
  • Resultaat- en oplossingsgericht, besluitvaardig en stressbestendig.
  • Klantgerichte ingesteldheid en sterke focus op samenwerking.
  • Continue aandacht voor veiligheid, kwaliteit en efficiëntie.
