The Stadscafé Apeldoorn is looking for an independently working chef with a heart for the catering industry; a chef who understands what it takes to organize the kitchen in such a way that our guests feel welcome and want to come back to us again. The total picture is important for this; the quality and appearance of services and products and the atmosphere in the company that is determined by the team. What are we looking for ? An independently working chef who runs the kitchen at Het Stadscafé together with the chef and sous chef. Together they are responsible for the quality of the products and services, the ambiance and the image of the company. Challenge, enjoyment of your work, appreciation & participation is something we are happy to provide. So that together we can please our guests and enjoy it just as much ourselves. It is important that you can work well with the team and manage it. You can set priorities while at the same time maintaining an overview of the executive level. Even when things are busy, you have an eye for detail and know how to organize the work flawlessly. You are communicative and have initiative. The tasks you are involved in are preparing and serving lunch and dinner, drinks and various parties. You also monitor the FIFO system. Obviously cleaning is an important part of your job, you take this realization with you. Finally, you certainly also have a say in the menu and the regular change of dishes.
