Naast de twee restaurants aan boord en de 254 hotelkamers, heeft het ss Rotterdam genoeg mogelijkheden qua banqueting / catering . Altijd al willen werken op de icoon van Rotterdam? En heb jij ervaring als Kok? Solliciteer dan op de vacature Zelfstandig Werkend Kok op de afdeling Keuken Meetings & Events . Je kan je voorstellen dat je met zo veel evenementen, veel gasten aan boord hebben die tijdens de events blijven dineren of lunchen. Het is daarom belangrijk dat je als Zelfstandig Werkend Kok het niet erg vindt om een stapje harder te lopen en je snel kan schakelen . Samen met jouw collega's zorg jij voor de catering, denk hierbij aan: - Een goede mise-en-place en het bereiden van gerechten; - Het voorbereiden, klaarzetten en uitgeven van de buffetten en diners; - Daarnaast draag jij met het team altijd de zorg voor naleving van HACCP en Arbo op de werkplek. Naast de eigen inbreng werk je als Zelfstandig Werkend Kok uiteraard ook volgens vaste instructies met betrekking tot ingrediënten, recepturen, werkmethoden en uiterlijke presentatie. Wie ben jij? Voor deze functie is het toch echt wel belangrijk dat je minimaal 2 jaar ervaring hebt in een soortgelijke functie. Denk hierbij aan banqueting / catering ervaring. Een koksdiploma niveau 4 is een pré. Ervaar je wel eens stress ? In de keuken kan het soms weleens spannend zijn tijdens de piekmomenten. Jij vindt dit een leuke uitdaging.
