Zelfstandige (kinder)psycholoog gezocht

Soms heeft een kind geen nood aan nog meer vragen, maar aan iemand die echt probeert te begrijpen wat er achter gedrag, stilte, spanning of overprikkeling zit.

Bij Aut of the box willen we kinderen en jongeren niet in een vakje stoppen. We kijken naar het volledige verhaal. Naar wie iemand is, wat er moeilijk loopt, waar krachten zitten en wat een kind, jongere of gezin nodig heeft om opnieuw wat meer grip, vertrouwen en ademruimte te ervaren.

Om ons team verder te versterken zijn we op zoek naar een zelfstandige (kinder)psycholoog die zich in die manier van werken herkent.

Wie zijn wij?

Aut of the box is een warme, kleinschalige praktijk waar we kinderen, jongeren, volwassenen en gezinnen begeleiden rond onder andere autisme, ADHD, hoogbegaafdheid, emotieregulatie, prikkelverwerking, sociale en emotionele ontwikkeling, zelfbeeld en vastlopen in het dagelijks leven.

We kijken verder dan een diagnose alleen.

Een kind dat boos wordt, kan overspoeld zijn.

Een jongere die niet meer naar school wil, probeert misschien al maanden vol te houden.

Een ouder die het even niet meer weet, heeft niet altijd nood aan nog meer adviezen, maar soms vooral aan iemand die mee kijkt en mee zoekt.

We geloven daarom sterk in begeleiding op maat, samenwerking met het netwerk en in verbinding met het gezin.

Geen standaardtrajecten waar iedereen doorheen moet, maar samen zoeken naar wat op dat moment nodig is.

Wat ga je doen?

Als psycholoog binnen Aut of the box begeleid je kinderen en/of jongeren en hun gezinnen vanuit jouw eigen expertise.

Afhankelijk van jouw interesses en ervaring kan je onder andere werken rond:

  • emotionele moeilijkheden
  • angst en piekeren
  • zelfbeeld en zelfvertrouwen
  • emotieregulatie
  • overprikkeling en stress
  • sociale moeilijkheden
  • vastlopen op school of thuis
  • psycho-educatie rond neurodiversiteit
  • ouderbegeleiding
  • verwerking van moeilijke ervaringen
  • diagnostische vragen signaleren en mee richting geven waar nodig

Je kijkt niet alleen naar wat moeilijk loopt, maar ook naar de context waarin een kind functioneert.

Waar nodig stem je af met ouders, school, andere hulpverleners of collega's binnen ons team.

Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken vooral iemand die bij onze visie past.

Iemand die nieuwsgierig blijft naar het verhaal achter gedrag en die niet te snel invult voor een kind of gezin.

Je:

  • hebt een master in de psychologie
  • bent erkend om als psycholoog te werken
  • werkt of wil werken als zelfstandige
  • voelt je thuis in het werken met kinderen en/of jongeren
  • communiceert warm en duidelijk met ouders
  • kan zelfstandig werken, maar zoekt ook graag verbinding met collega's
  • staat open voor neurodiversiteit en kijkt verder dan labels
  • durft creatief te werken wanneer praten alleen niet voldoende is
  • kan aansluiten bij het tempo en ontwikkelingsniveau van een kind
  • vindt samenwerking met het netwerk belangrijk

Ervaring met autisme, ADHD, hoogbegaafdheid of andere vormen van neurodiversiteit is een mooie meerwaarde.

Maar even belangrijk vinden we jouw houding, je nieuwsgierigheid en de manier waarop je naar mensen kijkt.
