The posting

· werkt samen met je collega ziekenhuishygiënist(e) en arts mee aan de verdere uitbouw en implementatie van het beleid rond ziekenhuishygiëne en infectiepreventie binnen AZ Zeno;

· volgt ontwikkelingen, richtlijnen en wettelijke vereisten op en vertaalt deze naar praktische toepassingen binnen de dagelijkse zorgverlening;

· ondersteunt de opvolging van infectiepreventie-indicatoren en helpt mee om resultaten te analyseren en te vertalen naar concrete verbeteracties;

· voert audits, observaties en risicoanalyses uit rond infectiepreventie (zoals handhygiëne, isolatiebeleid, veilige zorgprocessen en andere thema’s binnen ziekenhuishygiëne).

· geeft opleidingen, informeert en sensibiliseert medewerkers en artsen om een sterke cultuur van patiëntveiligheid en infectiepreventie te creëren;

· bouwt samen met de zorgteams een netwerk van referentieverpleegkundigen infectiepreventie uit en ondersteunt hen in hun ambassadeursrol op de afdelingen;

· adviseert medewerkers en zorgteams bij vragen rond infectiepreventie en helpt hen om richtlijnen praktisch toepasbaar te maken;

· werkt nauw samen met artsen, verpleegkundigen, zorgmanagers, kwaliteitsmedewerkers en andere interne partners;

· vertegenwoordigt AZ Zeno binnen externe netwerken en samenwerkingsverbanden rond ziekenhuishygiëne en infectiepreventie;

· neemt actief deel aan kwaliteit verbeterende projecten en denkt mee na over innovatieve oplossingen die bijdragen aan veilige, kwaliteitsvolle en toekomstgerichte zorg.

- Bachelor Verpleegkunde én Master Verpleegkunde en Vroedkunde.

· Gepassioneerd door kwaliteitsverbetering, patiëntveiligheid en infectiepreventie en je wil mee bouwen aan veilige zorg binnen AZ Zeno.

· Analytisch ingesteld en weet gegevens, richtlijnen en observaties te vertalen naar concrete verbeteracties op de werkvloer.

· Een inspirerende verbindende communicator die mensen weet te enthousiasmeren.

· Een initiatiefnemer die graag samenwerkt én het voortouw neemt binnen een domein dat voortdurend evolueert.
