Juist als zij-instromer neem je veel mee: je medische blik, je ervaring met patiëntencontact en je vermogen om klachten in context te plaatsen. Als ANIOS spreek je cliënten die door ziekte of andere omstandigheden niet of minder kunnen werken. Je onderzoekt wat iemand medisch gezien aankan, welke beperkingen er zijn en welke vervolgstappen passend zijn. Je leest dossiers, verzamelt medische informatie en bereidt gesprekken zorgvuldig voor. Daarbij kijk je verder dan een diagnose. Je weegt klachten, herstel, behandeling, werkbelasting en de persoonlijke situatie van de cliënt. Je werkt onder supervisie van een verzekeringsarts. Dat geeft ruimte om te leren, vragen te stellen en je oordeel goed te onderbouwen. Je overlegt met arbeidsdeskundigen en behandelend artsen, zodat jouw advies aansluit op het bredere beeld. Je legt je conclusies vast in heldere rapportages. Die rapportages zijn belangrijk, omdat jouw werk invloed heeft op inkomen, re-integratie en vervolgstappen richting werk. Deze functie past bij jou wanneer je arts wilt blijven, maar niet per se in de kliniek. Je werkt met medische inhoud, sociale context en wet- en regelgeving. Zonder diensten of acute zorgdynamiek, maar met verantwoordelijkheid en verdieping.
