Als zorgassistent op de afdeling geriatrie ondersteun je kwetsbare oudere patiënten tijdens hun verblijf. In de zorg houd je rekening met hun kwetsbaarheid en belastbaarheid, met als doel herstel en het behoud van zelfredzaamheid. Je werk is afwisselend en praktisch. In laag-complexe situaties ondersteun je patiënten bij de algemene dagelijkse levensverrichtingen (ADL). Ook help je bij de maaltijden, waarbij je rekening houdt met diëten en werkt volgens de geldende HACCP-richtlijnen. Daarnaast draag je bij aan een schone en hygiënische omgeving. Persoonlijke aandacht hoort vanzelfsprekend bij je werk. Je maakt tijd voor een praatje en draagt met jouw gastvrije houding bij aan een prettig verblijf voor de patiënt. Je werkt in een multidisciplinair team met onder andere verpleegkundigen, diëtisten en logopedisten. De verpleegkundige is eindverantwoordelijk voor de patiënt. Zo lever je iedere dag een praktische én persoonlijke bijdrage aan de zorg voor kwetsbare oudere patiënten Wie ben jij? - Je hebt een diploma helpende zorg en welzijn niveau 2 en beschikt over kennis van diëten en de HACCP-richtlijnen. Heb je een diploma verzorgende IG?
