The posting

Binnen AZ Rivierenland spelen zorgexperten een belangrijke rol in het verbeteren van de kwaliteit van zorg. Voor het domein pijnzorg zoeken we een gemotiveerde verpleegkundige die actief wil meewerken aan een ziekenhuisbreed en kwaliteitsvol pijnbeleid, op de campus Rumst.

Jouw rol

Als zorgexpert pijn ben je het aanspreekpunt voor pijnzorg binnen het ziekenhuis. Je ondersteunt collega’s, werkt samen met het algologisch team en helpt mee om pijnzorg verder te optimaliseren.

Naast je opdracht als zorgexpert werk je als verpleegkundige op een afdeling binnen AZ Rivierenland. Zo behoud je een nauwe betrokkenheid bij de directe patiëntenzorg en kan je jouw expertise in pijnzorg onmiddellijk omzetten naar de praktijk.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Opvolgen van pijnzorg op de afdelingen (o.a. pijnscores, registratie en opvolging) via audits die je zelf inplant
  • Opvolgen van patiënten met hoge pijnscores en detecteren van “gele vlaggen” (psychosociale factoren welke kunnen leiden tot het ontwikkelen van chronische pijn vb. angst, depressie, gevoel pijn niet te kunnen beheersen)
  • Ondersteunen en coachen van verpleegkundigen op de werkvloer
  • Samen met pijnarts en pijnpsycholoog procedures rond pijn uitwerken, implementeren en opvolgen.
  • Signaleren van knelpunten en formuleren van verbeteracties
  • Voorbereiden en geven van vormingen en het up-to-date houden van bestaande e‑learnings
  • Deelnemen aan werkgroepen en overlegmomenten rond pijnzorg
  • Meewerken aan audits, indicatoren en rapportering binnen het domein pijn
  • Netwerken binnen de MATA (Multidisciplinaire Algologische Teams Antwerpen)

Voor je opdracht als zorgexpert pijn word je 1 dag per week vrijgesteld van je verpleegkundige functie. De overige werkdagen werk je als verpleegkundige op een afdeling.

  • Je bent verpleegkundige (bachelor of gegradueerde)
  • Je hebt een duidelijke interesse in pijnzorg
  • Ervaring of bijkomende opleiding in pijnzorg is een pluspunt
  • Je werkt vlot samen en communiceert duidelijk
  • Je deelt graag kennis en ondersteunt collega’s
  • Je bent bereid om je verder bij te scholen binnen dit domein
  • Je kan al werken met, of bent bereid opleiding te volgen voor Teams, Atlas, DMS, …
