Zo werk je gelukkiger

Als zorgkundige op geriatrie bestaan je taken uit onderstaande:

  • Helpt de patiënten bij de dagelijkse lichaamsverzorging, voeding, uitscheiding en mobiliteit.
  • Helpt patiënten met een slikdieet volgens de richtlijnen van de logopedist
  • Bezorgt patiënten het nodige materiaal volgens de medische en verpleegkundige richtlijnen (vb. alternatingmatras)
  • Volgt, volgens de richtlijnen van verpleegkundigen, parameters op
  • Werkt tijdens de zorgverlening vlot samen met collega’s.
  • Observeert de gezondheidstoestand van de toegewezen patiënten, detecteert eventuele veranderingen en anticipeert op urgente situaties
  • Is verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie en coördinatie van de zorg voor de toegewezen patiënten. Stelt hierbij prioriteiten en kan werken onder tijdsdruk.
  • Administratief: zorgt voor correcte mondelinge en schriftelijke rapportering en registratie van patiëntgebonden aspecten
  • Draagt zorg voor de nodige informatie-uitwisseling over de patiënten met behandeld arts, hoofdverpleegkundige en paramedici
  • Waakt over het comfort van de patiënten
