In het wzc Sint-Jozef te Nieuwerkerken zijn we op zoek naar gemotiveerde zorgkundigen. Je werk bestaat er in om zorg en bijstand te verlenen aan oudere en kwetsbare mensen en dankzij je betrokkenheid wil je dit ook op een professionele en kwaliteitsvolle manier doen. Je besteedt aandacht aan het algemene welbevinden van de zorgbehoevende ouderen en je hebt hierbij ook zeker oor en oog voor hun familieleden en/of mantelzorgers.

Met je kennis en kunde op het vlak van ouderenzorg voel jij jezelf de geschikte kandidaat om ervoor te gaan en je kandidaat te stellen, zeker als je een echte teamwerker bent want dat is voor ons een echte 'must'.

In vzw Sint-Elisabeth's dal werken we met mensen voor mensen en doen dit vanuit verbinding en wederzijds vertrouwen. We stellen steeds de bewoner centraal, wij willen dat hij zich thuis voelt in een huiselijke en familiale sfeer. We gaan voor een open communicatie tussen medewerkers, vrijwilligers, bewoners en familieleden

Je bent bovendien iemand die graag samenwerkt met anderen, iemand die graag ervaringen deelt en anderzijds ook steeds open staat om te leren. Samen werken aan het welbevinden van deze oudere mensen drijft je en geeft je energie.

In de omgang met de ouderen voel je spontaan aan dat respect en vriendelijkheid de leidraad zijn om in een zorgrelatie het vertrouwen te winnen van de residenten en hun familieleden. Je weet dat je hun vertrouwen ook nodig hebt om je werk goed te kunnen doen.

Je verliest je professionele verantwoordelijkheid niet uit het oog en je beseft dat er naast de fysieke zorg ook jouw belangrijke empathische inbreng nodig is om de tevredenheid en het welbevinden van de residenten te bevorderen.
