The role

As a Business Information Consultant, you will be at the heart of our business intelligence landscape, enabling business areas to make better and faster decisions through trusted data and reporting solutions. Working closely with both business stakeholders and BI delivery teams, you will translate information needs into reliable reports, dashboards, and data solutions while ensuring that priorities are aligned and delivered effectively.

Beyond gathering requirements and managing the BI development pipeline, you will contribute to data warehouse development, testing activities, and data governance initiatives. By ensuring data quality, consistency, and transparency, you will help increase trust in business information across the organization and support data-driven decision making.

In addition, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting colleagues with data-related questions, promoting self-service analytics, and driving initiatives that strengthen data literacy and business performance.

You

You are an analytical and customer-oriented person who enjoys working at the intersection of business, data, and technology. You have a natural ability to understand business challenges and translate them into practical reporting and information solutions.

With your strong communication skills, you build effective relationships across the organization and act as a trusted partner for your stakeholders. You enjoy bringing structure to complex information needs and balancing business priorities with delivery realities. By combining a quality-focused mindset with a hands-on approach, you help drive better decisions through trusted data and actionable insights.

Further:

You have a bachelor’s degree in business studies or a related field.You bring relevant experience in business intelligence, reporting and data analytics.You have experience turning business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.You have a strong command of Microsoft reporting technologies, including Power BI, DAX, Excel and ETL/Power Query.You have an understanding of dimensional/star schema modelling.You are familiar with Agile/Scrum ways of working and tools such as DevOps or JIRA.You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

As nice-to-have skills, you have:

  • Microsoft PL-300 certification
  • Ability to find your way around SQL
  • Experience with Snowflake
