Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Entry Level Analytical Scientist to join our growing Biochemistry team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline who are eager to develop their technical skills in a regulated laboratory environment.

In this role, you'll gain exposure to analytical testing techniques, regulatory laboratory practices, and industry-standard instrumentation while contributing to work that supports the development and safety of products that improve lives around the world.

What You'll Do

  • Perform laboratory testing following established methods, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Generate, review, and document scientific data in accordance with GMP and GLP requirements
  • Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, including HPLC and GC systems
  • Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions
  • Accurately record observations and experimental results
  • Support ongoing studies and projects by following established procedures and timelines
  • Collaborate with scientists and laboratory teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another related scientific discipline
  • Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic or industry experience with HPLC, GC, or other analytical instrumentation
  • Exposure to GLP, GMP, or regulated laboratory environments
  • Familiarity with LIMS or electronic laboratory documentation systems
  • Laboratory coursework, internships, undergraduate research, or industry experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new techniques and follow detailed procedures
