  • Perform complex grading tasks such as high-water line (HWL) grading, mass grading, and stormwater management solutions with a focus on cut/fill optimization.
  • Design stormwater management systems including culverts, basins, and swales while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Optimize grading strategies for utility-scale solar sites, balancing earthwork efficiency with project constraints.
  • Lead development of plan sets, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client and regulatory expectations.
  • Perform quality control reviews and peer reviews of other's work to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Review and implement redlines, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
  • Prepare engineering reports including SWPPP, stormwater management reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documentation.
  • Analyze site constraints and develop practical engineering solutions to improve constructability and efficiency.
  • Participate in client meetings and support technical discussions alongside project managers.
  • Respond to engineering inquiries and contribute to resolving project challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across civil, electrical, and structural design efforts.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance on grading, drafting, and design problem-solving.
  • Contribute to internal training efforts and support development of team capabilities.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to support successful project execution.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and complete.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, site design, and stormwater management.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D with experience in grading, stormwater design, and site layout.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles including cut/fill balancing, hydrology, and stormwater management.
  • Experience working with design standards, state and local codes, and permitting requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam for QA/QC, markups, and redlining.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical design solutions.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical concepts.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
