Excelity is seeking a Software Developer for a project responsible supporting an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly

Responsibilities: Designs and develops user interfaces and visualizations that support capabilities such as data discovery and query, analytic visualizations, link-node analysis, AI/ML big data analytics, and object production and relationships Develops services using modern techniques such as REST, Java, JSON, Spring, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React), and Docker Uses processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory Supports development and demonstration of user interface and visualization concepts, and incorporates analyst feedback into the backlog Required Skills: A Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR A PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement Experience working in an Agile, Microservice cloud-based environment Experience with Java, Python, shell scripting, Experience JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaEE, Docker, and Web UI JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React) Top Secret/SCI CI Poly Desired Skills: Experience with JIRA, Git, Junit, and Jenkins Experience with multiple database technologies including RDBMS, Elasticsearch and/or SOLR, NoSQL (Hadoop and/or EMR) Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible work schedule 100% Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance plans with Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Long and Short-term disability coverage Generous paid vacation and holiday time Safe Harbor 401(k) Retirement Plan with 6% Employer matching contributions Reimbursement for professional and training development Company-paid memberships to professional organizations
