Binnen de Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) in Edegem worden innovatieve geneesmiddelen onderzocht tijdens vroege fases van klinische studies. Hierbij worden experimentele geneesmiddelen getest op gezonde vrijwilligers en patiënten.

SGS is een toonaangevende internationale onderzoeksorganisatie die al meer dan 40 jaar bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling van veilige en doeltreffende geneesmiddelen en vaccins.

Binnen de Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) in Edegem worden innovatieve geneesmiddelen onderzocht tijdens vroege fases van klinische studies. Hierbij worden experimentele geneesmiddelen getest op gezonde vrijwilligers en patiënten.

Om de tijdelijke afwezigheid van twee medewerkers op te vangen, zijn we op zoek naar een gemotiveerde Junior Laborant Klinische Studies die het team wil versterken.

Jouw takenpakket

Als Junior Laborant Klinische Studies ondersteun je de dagelijkse laboratoriumactiviteiten en werk je mee aan uiteenlopende klinische onderzoeken. Geen enkele studie is hetzelfde, waardoor je terechtkomt in een boeiende en afwisselende werkomgeving.

Je staat onder andere in voor:

  • Het verwerken, voorbereiden en analyseren van biologische stalen zoals bloed, urine, speeksel en andere lichaamsvochten.
  • Het uitvoeren van verschillende laboratoriumanalyses volgens vastgelegde procedures en kwaliteitsnormen.
  • Het correct registreren en rapporteren van analyseresultaten in studiedocumentatie.
  • Het controleren van onderzoeksgegevens en signaleren van eventuele afwijkingen.
  • Het ondersteunen van collega's bij de dagelijkse werking van het laboratorium.
  • Het nauwgezet naleven van veiligheids-, hygiëne- en kwaliteitsvoorschriften.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in een relevante wetenschappelijke richting, zoals Biomedische Wetenschappen, Biomedische Laboratoriumtechnologie, Medische Laboratoriumtechnologie of Farmaceutische en Biologische Laboratoriumtechnologie.
  • Je bent schoolverlater of hebt een eerste ervaring als laborant. Ervaring is een pluspunt, maar geen absolute vereiste.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler, maar kan ook zelfstandig aan de slag.
  • Je bent leergierig, stressbestendig en flexibel ingesteld.
  • Je bent bereid om volgens een wisselend uurrooster te werken, met mogelijke avond- en weekenddiensten.
