An upscale private practice is searching for an outstanding Optical Manager who brings professionalism, expertise, and a passion for excellence to the team. This is a dynamic role for a motivated leader who enjoys working in an inspiring, fast-paced environment with a discerning patient base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a sophisticated optical department, ensuring a five-star patient experience
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of optical professionals to achieve the highest standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and lab processes for lenses and frames
  • Uphold and model a business professional dress code and polished demeanor
  • Collaborate with doctors and staff to support office goals and foster a culture of excellence
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
  • Provide coverage across multiple office locations as needed

The team serves a discerning clientele in a polished, professional environment, and all staff are expected to maintain the highest standards of service and presentation.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay ($35–$40, based on experience)

Requirements:

  • Licensed Dispensing Optician (LDO) or equivalent extensive optical experience
  • Significant management experience, ideally with several years in an eye care leadership role
  • Background in private practice strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an optical lab is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated professionalism, exceptional communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, upscale environment
  • Willingness to travel between locations as required
