The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Program Manager, Insurance Software Implementation based in the United States.

Lead complex SaaS implementation programs that help insurance and financial services organizations modernize their operations and accelerate digital transformation. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee a portfolio of enterprise software implementations while directly managing at least one strategic client engagement. You’ll balance delivery execution with team coaching, ensuring projects meet their timelines, quality standards, financial targets, and go-live commitments. Working across product, engineering, quality assurance, sales, and client leadership teams, you’ll strengthen delivery governance and improve implementation practices at scale. You’ll also champion practical AI adoption to increase productivity, improve delivery visibility, and enhance client outcomes. This remote-first opportunity is ideal for an experienced program leader who combines strategic judgment with operational ownership and a passion for transforming insurance technology delivery.

Accountabilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of a portfolio of active SaaS implementation programs, ensuring commitments for scope, timelines, quality, margins, and go-live readiness are met.
  • Operate in a player-coach capacity by personally leading at least one major customer implementation while coaching and supporting project managers and business analysts across other engagements.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of project management activities, reinforcing accountability, delivery discipline, and consistent execution practices.
  • Maintain hands-on oversight of delivery plans, estimates, risks, dependencies, financial performance, and stakeholder alignment, intervening early when projects deviate from expectations.
  • Manage financial governance across implementations, including forecasting, margin performance, staffing alignment, resource utilization, and delivery transparency.
  • Coordinate execution across Development Leads, Architects, Product Owners, Quality Assurance teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive practical AI adoption throughout the implementation lifecycle, including planning, execution, reporting, quality improvement, knowledge reuse, and delivery acceleration.
  • Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO) and business leadership to improve delivery standards, governance frameworks, templates, and operational consistency.
  • Establish scalable implementation processes, delivery rhythms, governance standards, and best practices to improve predictability and execution quality.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Partner teams to support client growth opportunities, strengthen delivery positioning, and maintain continuity from sales through implementation.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders and steering committees to align implementation outcomes with business priorities and measurable value.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the implementation delivery model, improving project ownership, team productivity, delivery visibility, and client experience.
  • Adapt to evolving business priorities, take on new responsibilities when needed, and support initiatives that extend beyond the initial scope of the role.
  • 8–10+ years of experience delivering enterprise software or SaaS implementations for insurance or financial services organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex software implementation programs involving cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.
  • Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations and the technology solutions that support them.
  • Proven ability to balance direct client delivery ownership with team leadership, coaching, and mentoring in a player-coach model.
  • Experience managing project delivery within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Strong knowledge of delivery governance, risk management, financial oversight, resource planning, and operational execution.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, NetSuite, and modern project delivery tools.
  • Practical experience applying AI to implementation delivery, with an understanding of how it can improve execution, quality, reporting, and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive stakeholders, client steering committees, and day-to-day delivery teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accountability, predictability, and measurable outcomes.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, learn new technologies, and contribute to evolving business and delivery requirements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the United States and Canada.
  • Annual base salary: $125,000–$165,000, depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, work location, role responsibilities, internal equity, and market conditions.
  • Medical coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with most benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
  • Health savings: Employer-funded Health Savings Account (HSA) when paired with an eligible high-deductible health plan.
  • Flexible spending: Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
  • Insurance protection: Short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.
  • Retirement savings: 401(k) plan.
  • Paid time off: Flexible time off, paid sick days, and 11 paid holidays.
  • Family support: Paid parental and bonding leave.
  • Additional leave: Career anniversary leave.
  • Voluntary benefits: Access to additional voluntary benefit options.
  • Remote-first flexibility: Work remotely from most locations in the United States.
  • Professional impact and growth: Opportunities to shape implementation practices, improve delivery operations, and influence the evolution of next-generation insurance technology solutions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
