Job Description

JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION

  • Own the FAB Asset Management brand end-to-end across all FAB AM entities (ADGM and CMA), acting as custodian of the FAB AM brand charter, visual identity and tone of voice, in coordination with Group Corporate Communications where required.
  • Define and execute a multi-year marketing and communication plan commensurate with FAB AM’s ambition, covering brand, client-facing materials, digital, media, thought leadership, events and internal communication.
  • Define the standards, structure and content of the full client-facing document suite - presentations, factsheets, fund and mandate reporting, brochures and pitchbooks - working hand in hand with the Investments team, with production executed by Back Office.
  • Own the marketing budget, the agency and vendor panel, and ensure all materials meet ADGM, CMA, Group brand and compliance requirements.
  • Live and demonstrate the FAB AM values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand ownership: Act as owner and custodian of the FAB AM brand across all entities - charter, visual identity, templates, naming conventions, tone of voice and application across every client and market touchpoint - coordinating with Group where alignment or approval is required.
  • Marketing and communication plan: Build, obtain approval for and execute an annual and multi-year marketing and communication plan aligned with the commercial strategy, with clear objectives, audiences, messages, channels, calendar, budget and success measures.
  • Client-facing document suite: Define the content, structure, hierarchy of information and design standards for presentations, pitchbooks, brochures, fund and strategy factsheets, and client reporting; own the template library and the quality and consistency of the output produced by Back Office.
  • Reporting design and standards: Work with Investments, Operations and Back Office to define what is reported, how performance and portfolio data is presented and commented, and the editorial standards applied, ensuring materials are clear, accurate, comparable and client-ready.
  • Partnership with Investments: Work side by side with the investment teams to translate strategies, market views and performance into compelling and accurate narratives - market commentaries, outlooks, thought leadership, product stories and campaign content.
  • Digital, web and social media: Own the FAB AM digital presence, including website content and structure, LinkedIn and social channels, digital campaigns, SEO and analytics, ensuring a consistent and professional brand experience.
  • Media relations and thought leadership: Manage press and media relations, spokesperson support, interviews, publications and market commentary programmes that position FAB AM as a reference asset manager in the region.
  • Events and sponsorships: Plan and deliver client and market events, conferences, roadshows, product launches and sponsorships end-to-end, from concept and budget to logistics, content, follow-up and measurement.
  • Commercial and campaign support: Support institutional and retail distribution with campaigns, sales enablement material, product launch communication and partner or distributor co-branded content.
  • Budget and vendor management: Own, track and control the marketing budget; select and manage agencies, designers, media, event and digital partners, including scoping, costs, service levels and performance.
  • Regulatory and compliance control: Ensure all marketing materials and client communications comply with ADGM and CMA requirements as well as Group brand, legal and compliance standards, including approval workflows, disclaimers, versioning and record-keeping.
  • Internal communication and culture: Lead internal communication initiatives that strengthen FAB AM’s identity, culture and employee engagement.
  • Measurement and reporting: Define and report marketing KPIs - reach, engagement, campaign effectiveness, event conversion, brand perception - and contribute to periodic management reporting and dashboards.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 10 to 15 years in marketing and communications, with a substantial part gained in asset management, wealth management or regulated financial services.
  • Brand leadership: Proven experience owning and developing a brand and its identity system, including templates, guidelines and multi-channel application, ideally within or alongside a large group brand.
  • Investment content: Demonstrated ability to translate complex investment concepts, performance data and market views into clear, engaging and compliant client-facing content.
  • Client materials and reporting: Hands-on experience designing and governing presentations, pitchbooks, factsheets, brochures and client reporting suites, and working closely with investment and operations teams.
  • Communication plan and channels: Strong command of digital and web, social media, media relations, thought leadership, events and sponsorships, and internal communication.
  • Regulatory awareness: Working knowledge of marketing and disclosure requirements in regulated environments, with ADGM and CMA exposure considered a strong advantage.
  • Budget and vendor management: Experience owning a marketing budget and managing agencies, designers, media and event partners.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Executive capabilities: Strategic judgement, ownership and editorial rigour, senior stakeholder management, and the ability to operate both at plan level and hands-on.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
