What You’ll Do

As Senior Manager, you will serve as the leader and public face of our market intelligence offerings focusing on natural gas. You will direct and contribute to timely, insightful monthly and quarterly reports that illuminate key developments in domestic natural gas markets as well as the global drivers of North American liquefied natural gas exports. Our research provides actionable analysis of near- and medium-term supply and demand drivers, trade flows, midstream infrastructure, transportation economics, and the impact of capital flows, macroeconomic shifts, and geopolitical developments.

In this role, you will inspire and develop a high-performing team of market analysts and data specialists and will guide their professional growth and ensure the delivery of rigorous, data-driven market insights. You will drive the evolution of our analytics products and act as a trusted advisor to our clients, delivering regular briefings on emerging market trends and strategic opportunities.

Success in this position requires advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of SQL and Python. You bring a passion for uncovering market insights in complex, data-rich environments, complemented by exceptional communication skills and the leadership required to elevate both our team and our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee and contribute to the production of monthly and quarterly market reports, ensuring accuracy, analytical rigor, and timely delivery of all insights.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain forecasting models, supply/demand balances, and price outlooks for key natural gas trading hubs.
  • Mentor, inspire, and support the professional growth of market analysts and data specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and subject matter expert, delivering market briefings and in-depth presentations to clients, stakeholders, and industry events.
  • Enforce best practices in data analysis and modeling.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and answer questions.
  • Lead the development and rollout of new analytical products, tools, or methodologies that enhance our research impact and differentiate our offering in the marketplace.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • 6+ years of natural gas market analysis experience, ideally within industry or at an established consulting and analytics firm specializing in energy.
  • 3+ years of experience leading research teams and developing junior analysts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling (PowerBI experience a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience contributing to research reports or technical publications.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
