Montréal Bronze est un fournisseur reconnu des vannes de haute qualité destinés aux applications navales, à la construction maritime commerciale ainsi qu'à l'industrie nucléaire. Montréal Bronze est à la recherche d'un Gestionnaire de la planification impliqué sur le terrain pour diriger les activités de planification de la production, prévision de la demande, planification des inventaires et de suivi de la performance opérationnelle à travers l'organisation. Le Gestionnaire de la planification sera responsable de coordonner la demande, la capacité manufacturière et la disponibilité des matériaux afin d'assurer les livraisons à temps et l'utilisation optimale des ressources de l'entreprise. Ce poste exige une collaboration fort avec les équipes de Production, Approvisionnement, Ingénierie, Qualité, Ventes et avec les parties interentreprises afin d'élaborer des plans de production réalistes, résoudre les contraintes opérationnelles et soutenir les initiatives d'amélioration continue. Le candidat retenu possédera d'excellentes aptitudes analytiques. Ce poste est idéal pour un gestionnaire pratique qui aime travailler directement avec les équipes de production et aime contribuer à l'implantation de processus de planification évolutifs au sein d'une organisation manufacturière en croissance.   Fonctions essentielles du poste:

Diriger les activités de planification de la production (incluant l'approbation des revues de contrats et la planification des matériaux) afin d'assurer les livraisons à temps tout en équilibrant la capacité de main-d'œuvre, la disponibilité des matériaux et les priorités des clients. Développer et maintenir l'horizon de production (« production skyline »), offrant une visibilité sur la charge de travail, les besoins en capacité, ajustant les plans de production en fonction des modifications d'ingénierie et des exigences de qualification et les engagements de livraison de l'entreprise. Collaborer avec les équipes des Ventes, des Opérations, des Achats ainsi qu'avec les équipes de Hunt Valve/FMD afin d'élaborer les prévisions de la demande et d'aligner les plans de production sur les objectifs de l'organisation. Diriger le développement de processus intégrés de planification afin d'améliorer la coordination entre les Ventes, les Achats, la Production et les Opérations. Surveiller les niveaux d'inventaire, les travaux en cours et la disponibilité des matériaux tout en résolvant de manière proactive les contraintes pouvant affecter les calendriers de production. Développer, maintenir et communiquer les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) liés aux livraisons, au respect des échéanciers, aux niveaux d'inventaire, au débit de production, à l'utilisation des capacités et à la précision des prévisions. Créer et maintenir des tableaux de bord et des rapports opérationnels à l'aide de Power BI, Excel et des données provenant du système ERP afin de soutenir la prise de décision basée sur les données. Travailler avec le personnel de production et les responsables des différents départements afin d'identifier les goulots, résoudre les enjeux opérationnels et améliorer la performance manufacturière globale. Prend charge des réunions de planification et fournir à la direction une visibilité claire sur l'état de la production, les risques, les plans de redressement et les opportunités d'amélioration. Piloter les initiatives d'amélioration continue axées sur la performance des livraisons, la réduction des délais, l'optimisation des inventaires, l'efficacité des processus et la précision de la planification.

Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Excel, incluant les tableaux croisés dynamiques, Power Query, les formules avancées, les tableaux de bord et les outils d'analyse de données. Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Power BI pour la création de rapports, de tableaux de bord et la gestion des indicateurs de performance. Expérience avec les systèmes ERP pour la planification de la production, la gestion des inventaires et la production de rapports. Capacité à analyser de grands volumes de données et à les transformer en recommandations d'affaires concrètes. Grande rigueur dans l'analyse des calendriers, prévisions, inventaires et indicateurs opérationnels. Excellente maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

  Formation:

Baccalauréat en gestion des opérations, gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, génie industriel, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe provenant d'un établissement reconnu. Les certifications professionnelles en gestion de la production et des inventaires (CPIM/APICS), en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, en Lean Manufacturing ou dans des disciplines similaires constituent un atout.

  Expérience:

De 5 à 10 ans d'expérience en planification de production, ordonnancement, chaîne d'approvisionnement, opérations ou gestion manufacturière. Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier requise. Expérience dans un environnement de fabrication à faible volume et forte variabilité, dans la fabrication sur mesure ou dans les secteurs des produits industriels, vannes, pompes, fonderie, usinage ou produits d'ingénierie constitue un atout important. Expérience dans le développement de KPI, de tableaux de bord Power BI et de rapports avancés sous Excel requise. Expérience en prévision de la demande, planification de capacité et dans des environnements manufacturiers gérés par un système ERP constitue un atout.

Montreal Bronze is seeking a hands-on Planning Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, forecasting, inventory planning, and operational performance reporting across the organization. The Planning Manager will be responsible for coordinating demand, manufacturing capacity and material availability to ensure on-time delivery and efficient utilization of company resources. This role requires close collaboration with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and key intercompany stakeholders to develop practical production plans, resolve constraints, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for operational excellence. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys working directly with production teams, leveraging data to improve business performance, and helping build scalable planning processes within a growing manufacturing organization.   Essential Job Functions

Lead production planning and scheduling activities (including contract review sign-off & material planning) to ensure on-time delivery while balancing labor capacity, material availability, and customer priorities. Develop and maintain the production skyline, providing visibility into workload, capacity requirements, adjusting for engineering change & qualification and delivery commitments across the business. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Hunt Valve/FMD teams to develop forecasts and align production plans with business objectives. Lead the development of integrated planning processes that improve coordination between Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Operations. Monitor inventory, work-in-process, and material availability while proactively resolving constraints that may impact production schedules. Develop, maintain, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery performance, schedule adherence, inventory levels, throughput, capacity utilization, and forecast accuracy. Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and ERP system data to support data-driven decision making. Work closely with shop floor personnel and department leaders to identify bottlenecks, solve operational challenges, and improve overall manufacturing performance. Lead planning meetings and provide management with clear visibility of production status, risks, recovery plans, and improvement opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on delivery performance, lead-time reduction, inventory optimization, process efficiency, and planning accuracy.

Applied attention to detail for reviewing schedules, forecasts, inventory records, and operational metrics. Fluency in French and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  Education

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution. Professional certifications in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM/APICS), Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, or similar disciplines are considered assets.

  Experience

5-10 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing management roles. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Experience working in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment, custom manufacturing, industrial products, valves, pumps, castings, machining, or engineered products is considered a strong asset. Experience developing KPIs, Power BI dashboards, and advanced Excel-based reporting is required. Experience with forecasting, demand planning, capacity planning, and ERP-driven manufacturing environments is preferred.
