Voor een toonaangevend industrieel maakbedrijf in de grensregio Menen - Kortrijk, gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige technische maatwerkoplossingen, zoeken we een Afdelingshoofd Montage & Constructie. In deze veelzijdige sleutelfunctie stuur je de operationele werking van de afdeling aan: je coacht een tweetalig team van vaklui, bewaakt de planning van complexe klantorders en stuurt continu bij op het vlak van werkplekorganisatie, procesflow en digitalisering.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Dagelijks inspireren, coachen en aansturen van een hecht team van ca. 20 medewerkers en monteurs, met maximale focus op samenwerking, netheid en veiligheid.
  • Nauw overleggen met de plannings- en engineeringteams om ervoor te zorgen dat projecten volgens de strikte specificaties en afgesproken levertermijnen worden afgewerkt.
  • Knelpunten op de vloer detecteren en vertalen naar gerichte 5S-, Lean- en efficiëntieacties, inclusief de uitrol van digitale werkmethodes.
  • Waken over het machine- en gereedschapspark, eerstelijnsonderhoud borgen en constructief schakelen met externe technische servicebedrijven.
  • Opvolgen van de centrale productie-KPI's (rendement, doorlooptijden, kwaliteitsindicatoren) en de vorderingen bespreken met het directieteam.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Minstens een technisch bachelordiploma (Elektromechanica, Productietechniek, Ontwerp) of gelijkwaardig door relevante praktijkervaring.
  • Aantoonbare leidinggevende bagage als meestergast, teamleider of productieverantwoordelijke binnen een technische assemblage-, machinebouw- of metaalomgeving.
  • Hands-on people manager met natuurlijk gezag, die graag midden in de actie op de werkvloer staat.
  • Goed technisch inzicht, vlotte affiniteit met geautomatiseerde werkprocessen en ervaring met ERP-omgevingen.
  • Vlotte tweetaligheid Nederlands / Frans, onmisbaar voor een soepele dagelijkse communicatie binnen het team.
