Bij Proferro krijg je de kans om vanaf dag één mee te bouwen aan de automatisering van een indrukwekkende industriële productieomgeving. Van industriële robots en PLC-sturingen tot AI, vision-systemen en autonome mobiele robots: hier ontdek je hoe technologie écht het verschil maakt.

En het mooiste? Je hoeft nog geen ervaring te hebben. Wij zoeken vooral technisch talent met de juiste nieuwsgierigheid, motivatie en ambitie om te groeien.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

Als Automation Engineer word je onderdeel van een ervaren automatiseringsteam en krijg je de tijd en begeleiding om onze installaties, processen en technologieën grondig te leren kennen. Je zal in het team komen van Jelle (senior PLC programmeur) en Simon (Projectcoördinator). Zij geven je de tijd en het mentorschap om te groeien in deze rol.

Je start dicht bij de productie en groeit geleidelijk door naar het zelfstandig realiseren van uitdagende automatiseringsprojecten.

  • Je werkt mee aan innovatieve automatiseringsprojecten binnen zowel de gieterij als de CNC-productieafdeling.
  • Je leert industriële PLC-, HMI- en SCADA-systemen kennen en helpt bij het programmeren, analyseren en optimaliseren van machinebesturingen.
  • Je ondersteunt de ontwikkeling en integratie van industriële robots en geautomatiseerde productiecellen.
  • Je ontdekt hoe AGV's en AMR's worden ingezet om interne logistieke processen slimmer en efficiënter te organiseren.
  • Je onderzoekt de mogelijkheden van AI, computervisie en nieuwe technologieën binnen een complexe productieomgeving.
  • Je analyseert technische storingen en werkt samen met ervaren engineers aan structurele oplossingen.
  • Je denkt actief mee over verbeteringen aan bestaande installaties op het vlak van automatisering, betrouwbaarheid en productie-efficiëntie.
  • Je groeit stap voor stap door naar een engineer die eigen automatiseringsprojecten van concept tot implementatie kan begeleiden.
  • Van een robotcel in de CNC-afdeling tot een automatiseringsuitdaging in de gieterij: jouw projecten zijn even gevarieerd als de technologieën waarmee je werkt.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

We zoeken geen engineer die alles al kan. We zoeken iemand die alles wil leren.

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma Industrieel Ingenieur Elektromechanica, Elektronica-ICT of Burgerlijk Ingenieur Elektromechanica.
  • Je bent gefascineerd door robotica, PLC-programmering, industriële automatisering en nieuwe technologieën. Ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar absoluut geen vereiste.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig, analytisch en hands-on en krijgt energie van technische uitdagingen waarbij je zelf op de werkvloer oplossingen kunt uitwerken.
  • Je neemt initiatief, werkt graag samen met andere engineers en communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, met een goede kennis van Frans of de goesting om het te leren en durven spreken.
  • Schoolverlaters zijn uitdrukkelijk welkom! Ook als jouw ervaring met PLC's of robotica voorlopig beperkt is tot schoolprojecten, stages of persoonlijke interesses, willen we jou graag leren kennen.
