Voor een sterk groeiende West-Vlaamse engineeringorganisatie gespecialiseerd in industriële automatisering zoeken we een Lead Electrical Engineer die technische expertise combineert met een passie voor people management. Je krijgt de verantwoordelijkheid over een multidisciplinair engineeringteam en bewaakt de technische kwaliteit van uitdagende elektrische automatiseringsprojecten.

Je combineert electrical engineering, EPLAN-design en technisch leiderschap en vormt de cruciale schakel tussen engineering, projectmanagement, bordenbouw en automatisering. Een interessante uitdaging voor een ervaren engineer die graag technisch betrokken blijft, maar tegelijk een team naar een hoger niveau wil tillen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je geeft dagelijks leiding aan een team van Electrical Design Engineers, tekenaars en werkvoorbereiders en zorgt voor een efficiënte organisatie en verdeling van de engineeringprojecten.
  • Je coacht en begeleidt jouw medewerkers, bewaakt hun technische ontwikkeling en stimuleert kennisdeling, kwaliteit en continue verbetering binnen het engineeringteam.
  • Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de technische kwaliteit van elektrische ontwerpen en berekeningen in EPLAN Electric P8, Pro Panel en Caneco BT.
  • Je vertaalt klantvragen en projectvereisten naar concrete elektrische concepten, inclusief voedingsstructuren, beveiligingen, componentselectie, kastindelingen en I/O-configuraties.
  • Je organiseert technische designreviews en kwaliteitscontroles en ziet toe op de naleving van elektrische normen zoals AREI, EN 61439 en EN 60204-1.
  • Je ontwikkelt en optimaliseert interne EPLAN-standaarden, macro's, templates en artikeldatabanken om de efficiëntie en kwaliteit van het engineeringproces te verhogen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Project Managers, Automation Engineers en bordenbouwers en bewaakt de technische scope, planning en maakbaarheid van elektrische installaties.
  • Je ondersteunt bij complexe technische vraagstukken, volgt wijzigingen en as-built-documentatie op en fungeert waar nodig als technisch aanspreekpunt tijdens keuringen, FAT en SAT.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma Elektrotechniek, Elektromechanica of een gelijkwaardige technische opleiding, aangevuld met ruime ervaring binnen industriële electrical engineering.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van EPLAN Electric P8, Pro Panel en Caneco BT en bent vertrouwd met elektrische normen, industriële installaties en technische ontwerpstandaarden.
  • Je beschikt over leidinggevende ervaring of een sterke achtergrond als technisch referentiepunt en weet engineers te coachen, projecten te organiseren en technische kwaliteit te bewaken.
  • Je bent communicatief, gestructureerd en oplossingsgericht, spreekt vlot Nederlands, hebt bij voorkeur kennis van Frans en Engels en beschikt over een rijbewijs B.
