Voor een sterk groeiende en familiale technische KMO zoeken we een Mechanical Design Engineer die zijn technische creativiteit en oog voor detail wil inzetten voor uitdagende engineeringprojecten. Je krijgt de verantwoordelijkheid over het ontwerpen en technisch uitwerken van uiteenlopende constructies, van eerste concept tot productie- en montageklare tekeningen.

Je combineert 3D-ontwerp, mechanische engineering en technische projectondersteuning en werkt nauw samen met Project Managers en andere technische specialisten. Een interessante uitdaging voor een gedreven ontwerper die graag meedenkt over innovatieve, kwalitatieve en praktisch uitvoerbare constructies.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je ontwerpt en ontwikkelt mechanische constructies en technische installaties op basis van concepten, basisontwerpen en projectspecificaties.
  • Je werkt gedetailleerde 3D-modellen en technische tekeningen uit in Autodesk Inventor, met aandacht voor maatvoering, materiaalkeuze en praktische uitvoerbaarheid.
  • Je analyseert bestaande montage- en detailtekeningen van klanten en integreert deze correct in nieuwe ontwerpen en constructies.
  • Je vertaalt technische klantvereisten naar productie- en montageklare ontwerpen die voldoen aan de geldende kwaliteitsnormen en technische voorschriften.
  • Je controleert jouw ontwerpen kritisch op technische correctheid, nauwkeurigheid en maakbaarheid en verwerkt wijzigingen en revisies waar nodig.
  • Je stelt volledige technische tekendossiers, stuklijsten en montagetekeningen samen en zorgt voor een gestructureerd documentatiebeheer.
  • Je stemt de voortgang van jouw engineeringwerkzaamheden af tijdens dagelijkse overlegmomenten en werkt nauw samen met Project Managers om technische uitdagingen efficiënt op te lossen.
  • Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt een eigen bibliotheek van standaardcomponenten en constructiedetails en draagt bij aan de verdere optimalisatie van interne ontwerpstandaarden.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma Elektromechanica of een gelijkwaardige technische opleiding, gecombineerd met een sterke interesse in mechanisch ontwerp en engineering.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Autodesk Inventor en beschikt over een sterk ruimtelijk inzicht en technisch inzicht in mechanische constructies.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en kwaliteitsgericht en hebt oog voor technische details, deadlines en correcte documentatie.
  • Je bent communicatief, oplossingsgericht en een echte teamspeler die zich herkent in waarden zoals vakmanschap, respect, veiligheid en samenwerking.
