Voor een financieel gezonde en familiale machinebouwer zoeken we een Mechanical Design Engineer die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt over het volledige ontwerpproces van innovatieve machines en technische installaties. Je krijgt de kans om jouw eigen projecten van eerste concept tot effectieve realisatie in het productieatelier op te volgen.

Je combineert 3D-engineering, mechanisch ontwerp en technische projectopvolging en werkt nauw samen met ervaren engineers, leveranciers en productiecollega's. Een uitdagende functie waarin je niet alleen machines ontwerpt, maar jouw technische oplossingen ook daadwerkelijk gerealiseerd ziet worden.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je neemt na een grondige introductie de verantwoordelijkheid over eigen machinebouwprojecten en volgt deze op van technisch concept tot realisatie.
  • Je ontwerpt en ontwikkelt machines en mechanische constructies in SolidWorks 3D, met bijzondere aandacht voor betrouwbaarheid, functionaliteit en technische uitvoerbaarheid.
  • Je vertaalt klantvereisten en technische specificaties naar doordachte ontwerpen, rekening houdend met het beschikbare budget en de interne ontwerpstandaarden.
  • Je overlegt regelmatig met collega-engineers, de Engineering Manager, leveranciers en klanten om technische oplossingen af te stemmen en verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je werkt na goedkeuring van het ontwerp de nodige 2D-tekeningen, detailtekeningen en productietekeningen uit voor een correcte uitvoering in het atelier.
  • Je staat in voor de materiaalselectie en bestelling van benodigde onderdelen en componenten zodat de productie efficiënt kan worden voorbereid.
  • Je ondersteunt het productieatelier bij technische vragen en zorgt ervoor dat jouw ontwerpen correct worden vertaald naar de praktische uitvoering.
  • Je bewaakt de technische voortgang van jouw projecten, stuurt ontwerpen bij waar nodig en zorgt voor een kwalitatieve en succesvolle projectrealisatie.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een graduaatsdiploma of ingenieursdiploma Mechanica of Elektromechanica, aangevuld met relevante werkervaring binnen de machinebouw.
  • Je hebt een sterke kennis van mechanisch ontwerp en 3D-engineering. Ervaring met SolidWorks vormt een belangrijke meerwaarde.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en projectmatig en beschikt over het technisch inzicht om betrouwbare en praktisch uitvoerbare machineconstructies te ontwikkelen.
  • Je bent communicatief, oplossingsgericht en een echte teamspeler die graag overlegt met engineering, leveranciers en productie om projecten succesvol te realiseren.
