Voor een toonaangevende, snelgroeiende speler binnen de voedingsindustrie in regio Beernem kijkt onze partner uit naar een gedreven en ervaren Plant Manager. In deze sleutelrol neem je de end-to-end operationele leiding over een dynamische productiesite, stroomlijn je de supply chain en til je de organisatie naar het volgende niveau.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Site & Operations Management: Je bent integraal verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse operaties op de productiesite: productie, kwaliteit, technisch onderhoud van machines en gebouwen, alsook veiligheid en milieu.
  • Supply Chain & Logistiek: Je stuurt de interne supply chain aan, optimaliseert planning, voorraadbeheer en goederenstromen, en stemt deze naadloos af op de productiecapaciteit en marktvraag.
  • Operational Excellence: Je bouwt verder aan continue verbeterprocessen (lean/operational excellence) om groeipijnen weg te werken en efficiëntie, veiligheid en rendabiliteit structureel te verhogen.
  • Leiderschap & Coaching: Je stuurt een team van leidinggevenden/direct reports rechtstreeks aan. Je coacht hen in eigenaarschap, procesbeheersing en leiderschap binnen een ploegenomgeving.
  • Strategie & KPI-opvolging: Als lid van het directie-/managementteam vertaal je de bedrijfsstrategie naar concrete KPI's en dashboards, en neem je investeringsvoorstellen mee onder de arm.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Opleiding: Masterdiploma in een relevante richting (bijv. Bio-ingenieur, Industrieel Ingenieur, Levensmiddelentechnologie of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
  • Ervaring: Minstens 10+ jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende rol als Production Manager, Operations Manager of Plant Manager binnen de voedingsindustrie (food).
  • Expertise: Sterke affiniteit met zowel procestechniek als integrale supply chain flows.
  • Leiderschap: Een natuurlijk leider die teams kan verbinden, stimuleren en meekrijgen in verandering en professionalisering.
  • Talen: Uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands, aangevuld met een professionele kennis van het Engels & Frans.
  • Statuut: Deze opportuniteit staat enkel open in vast loondienstverband (geen freelance of managementvennootschap).
