Heb jij ervaring in transport en weet jij hoe je een team van chauffeurs en transportplanners enthousiasmeert en aanstuurt? Voor een gewaardeerde speler in de regio Roeselare zoeken we een daadkrachtige Teamleader Transport. In deze functie sta jij aan het roer van onze dagelijkse transportoperaties. Je bent de verbindende factor tussen het wegennet en de interne organisatie, en waakt over een vlot, tijdig en veilig transporttraject van alle goederen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Operationele sturing: Je stuurt het transportteam en de chauffeurs dagelijks aan, volgt de rittenplanning op en grijpt snel in bij eventuele vertragingen of incidenten onderweg.
  • Mensen & Coaching: Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor het transportpersoneel, verzorgt een heldere communicatie op de vloer, regelt de personeelsbezetting en begeleidt medewerkers in hun dagelijkse werking.
  • Kwaliteit, Veiligheid & Wetgeving: Je zorgt voor een strikte naleving van de rij- en rusttijden, transportwetgeving en veiligheidsnormen. Verder handel je transportschades of klachten op een correcte wijze af.
  • Continu verbeteren: Je analyseert de logistieke prestatiemetrieken (zoals vulgraad, stiptheid en brandstofverbruik) en reikt actiepunten aan om transportprocessen efficiënter en duurzamer in te richten.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor binnen de logistiek of kan een gelijkwaardig niveau aantonen door 5 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring in transport en distributie.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van de transportsector, logistieke wetgeving en het beheer van wegtransport.
  • Je bent een toegankelijke maar overtuigende leidinggevende die snel schakelt in een hoogdynamische omgeving.
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring met transportbeheersystemen (TMS) en ERP-pakketten (kennis van SAP is een duidelijke meerwaarde).
