About Us

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. We ignite the passions of global sports fans and maximize the presence and reach for our hundreds of sports partners globally by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming, allowing sports fans to Buy, Collect, and Bet. Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally.

Fanatics is building one of the most ambitious connected fan platforms in sports… a truly single ecosystem where millions of fans earn, spend, engage, and belong across commerce, betting and gaming, collectibles, live events, credit card and more. The glue holding that ecosystem together is great design, a great loyalty program and single identity: a coherent, trustworthy, delightful experience that feels like one Fanatics regardless of where a fan enters, that their engagement feels rewarding and connected to everything they do.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be operating across the Loyalty layer of the Fanatics Ecosystem — this includes Loyalty itself, Identity (account, log-in, customer profile) and our SDK (which enables us to launch experiences across our various platforms seamlessly). Loyalty is the core of the customer experience, it's how we reward customers for their fandom across every touchpoint in our apps.

Your initial focus will be on improving upon our existing Loyalty infrastructure and taking key elements like rewards, Fanatics ONE, and FanCash to the next level giving them a reason to keep coming back.

This is a hands-on Senior role. You'll own design for key features within the pod, ship the work yourself, and help raise the design bar for the team around you.

What You'll Own

  • Deep end-to-end design on key features for Fanatics ONE, FanCash, and Rewards — from fostering early concepts through launch and iteration.
  • Well-scoped projects and features that you drive to outcomes with guidance from design leadership, partnering with PM and Engineering on scope and tradeoffs.
  • Contributions to the FanApp design system: using existing patterns well and proposing new components for rewards, offers, and other Loyalty surfaces that other pods can adopt.
  • Prototyping as a way to decide, including in code or the app where useful, using AI tools to explore and validate real behavior against real data and backend constraints.
  • Quality for your own work: bringing it to critique and delivering clear, well-redlined handoffs to engineering.
  • Peer feedback and support for designers on and around the pod.

How You'll Work

You'll partner closely with the Loyalty pod's Product Manager and Engineering Manager, sitting inside the pod rather than serving it from a distance. You'll also work with other designers in the Fanatics Ecosystem to keep your area's patterns coherent across.

This is a role that touches not one app, but multiple. Being able to represent the ecosystem through collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers in other lines of the business is key to your success.

What Success Looks Like

  • Usability, accessibility, and comprehension scores on core flows
  • Speed and confidence of cross-tenant experience delivery
  • Features that ship with a high craft bar and hold up at the edges.
  • Patterns you design that get reused elsewhere in the app because they're good
  • Trusted partnerships with your PM and engineering counterparts.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years in Product Design, with experience owning features or a product area end to end
  • Experience in relevant domains; loyalty, rewarding, membership, account for consumer-facing companies
  • Systems thinking - you've designed with and contributed to design systems, and you know when to reuse a pattern versus create a new one
  • Prototyping fluency, and comfort using AI tools to move faster without losing rigor
  • Experience giving thoughtful feedback to peers and taking part in design critique
  • Comfort in a mobile-first, fast-moving consumer environment where the roadmap can be ambiguous and priorities shift

Design Craft

  • You design complete flows, not just screens - you can hold your whole area in your head without losing the individual moment.
  • You care deeply about visual and interaction quality, and you know when to simplify and unify rather than add another pattern.
  • You prototype fluently enough to settle debates with a demo instead of a deck.
  • You understand data and backend realities well enough to design interactions that are feasible, resilient, and predictable at the edges.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
