About the Team

Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.

Overview

Fanatics Betting & Gaming is seeking a Sr. Manager of VIP Acquisition Strategy & Growth to help run the day-to-day engine behind VIP acquisition. The VIP Acquisition team identifies high-value sportsbook and casino players and introduces them to the Fanatics experience.

This role sits at the center of how that happens. You will own the lead pipeline and scoring that inform where the team focuses, set the weekly contact plan, run the testing agenda, and own the reporting the acquisition team and leadership rely on. You will work closely with analytics partners and with the acquisition executives who carry outreach, and will see directly how your work translates into results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the lead pipeline: ingestion, enrichment, and scoring that rank and tier prospects.
  • Develop creative initiatives to identify new leads and bring in new customers.
  • Expand the top of the funnel through new lead sources and partnerships.
  • Set the weekly contact plan and routing across executive outreach and scaled channels.
  • Build and run the acquisition testing agenda across offers, messaging, and cadence.
  • Define how our approach differs for sportsbook versus casino prospects.
  • Own acquisition reporting, consolidating it into a single dashboard and maintaining it with analytics partners.
  • Set and track weekly and monthly acquisition targets and report on performance against plan.
  • Partner with the acquisition executives as their go-to resource for strategic and data needs.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in betting, gaming, or a comparable consumer business, ideally in acquisition, growth, CRM, or high-value customer operations.
  • Strong analytical foundation, comfortable working directly in data, building dashboards, and defining metrics. Working fluency with SQL, a CRM such as Salesforce, and a BI environment.
  • Track record of owning a recurring operating cadence: reporting, weekly planning, and target setting.
  • Experience designing and reading tests, with the rigor to act on results.
  • Familiarity with sportsbook and casino players, and what a high-value customer values in each product.
  • Effective working with analytics resources and front-line sales teams outside your direct reporting line.
  • Commitment to Responsible Gaming and to building programs that keep customer wellbeing ahead of commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent communicator, able to turn data into clear recommendations for technical and executive audiences.
  • Self-starter, highly organized, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Depending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE—a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires. These sessions are designed to build connection and bring our culture to life, though specific travel and participation requirements will be confirmed based on your role and location. Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. The range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual offer is confirmed. Salary Range

$133,000—$167,000 USD
