The posting

Fanatics Commerce is the global leader in licensed sports merchandise, operating a vertically integrated platform that designs, manufactures, and delivers officially licensed apparel, jerseys, headwear, and collectibles for major leagues, teams, and events worldwide. With more than 900 e-commerce sites and a global omnichannel presence across digital, in-venue, and retail, Fanatics Commerce reaches fans in over 180 countries and powers official fan experiences for many of the world's most iconic sports properties.

At Fanatics, we bring our BOLD Leadership Principles to life every day - building championship teams, obsessing over fans, acting with entrepreneurial speed, and delivering with a determined and relentless mindset.

As we continue to scale our global platform, the Product Support Specialist, Major Events will play a critical role in coordinating product operations, merchandising support, and milestone tracking across major events.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Product Support Specialist, Major Events is an entry-level role providing administrative and operational support across Merchandising, Product Development, and Design. This role blends day-to-day departmental coordination — intake, tracking, meeting logistics, and sample management — with early, hands-on exposure to the product lifecycle, including product data accuracy, milestone tracking, and licensing documentation support. The Product Support Specialist, Major Events delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

  • Serve as a liaison and coordination hub across Merchandising, Product Development, and Design, ensuring cross-functional teams remain aligned on key dates, deliverables, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics and maintain shared trackers, calendars, and checklists that keep the department on schedule and reduce friction across functions.
  • Support post-project and post-event recaps, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and team improvement through documented findings.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Process reorder requests and manage VIK intake forms and partner requests, ensuring fans and partners receive accurate, timely product support.
  • Maintain, organize, and produce the on-hand approved sample set for partner reference, enabling a polished and reliable brand experience at every touchpoint.
  • Support coordination of licensing approvals and brand compliance documentation, helping ensure all products reaching fans meet official standards.
  • Monitor sample approvals and production deadlines, escalating timing risks early to protect the integrity of fan-facing product launches.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Proactively flag missed deadlines and stalled items to leadership before they become blockers, bringing a solutions-first mindset to operational challenges.
  • Assist with product setup and maintenance tasks — supporting accuracy of SKUs, specs, and attributes — to improve the reliability of product data systems.
  • Track and chase WIP status updates across functional leads, identifying gaps and driving resolution with a continuous-improvement orientation.
  • Support ad hoc administrative needs across the department, adapting quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Manage a high volume of small, concurrent tasks — reorders, VIK intake, sample coordination, milestone tracking — with consistent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Maintain shared trackers and departmental checklists with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring leadership always has a clear, current view of status across workstreams.
  • Support licensing and brand compliance documentation with rigor and reliability, owning the coordination process end to end under guidance from senior leads.
  • Approach every assignment with a proactive mindset, surfacing issues early and driving closure rather than waiting to be asked.

AI & DIGITAL CAPABILITY

We are building a future-ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, retail, or operations support role; internship experience is welcome.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through across a high volume of concurrent tasks.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with every function across Merchandising, Product Development, and Design.
  • Proficiency with standard office and productivity tools, including Excel/spreadsheets, shared trackers, and calendar and scheduling platforms.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset — flags issues and risks early rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Genuine interest in building a career in merchandising, product development, or retail operations.
  • Experience in apparel, retail, or a licensed product environment is a plus but not required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
